“no matter what happens, it’s human nature to come together”
When I was younger I like to draw comics for my mom’s birthday and share with my grandpa the different princess dresses I’ve made before going to bed. The older I got, I realized that my biggest joy comes from the light on people’s faces when they receive a drawing that I give them, box that I built by myself in the shape of their favourite food, or a series of books that I wrote based on their experiences. Turns out people appreciates being seen and heard. When I tell their stories, they are reminded that their existence matters.
