Haunt Magazine

Inspired by Mike Flanagan's movies and Phoebe Bridgers's music, this magazine talks about loneliness, trauma, and existential anxieties through the metaphor of ghosts. Our exploration of visuals focuses on depicting disconnection and vastness through unconventional spacing in layouts, against it lays photography and illustrations that evoke nostalgia and lost memories, a fun and whimsical outlook against the solitude and vastness of the topic at hand.

When the figurine line rolled out a refresh in the post-COVID time, the design is directed to pay homage to escapism, simplistic and nostalgia, as many youth have often push forward for a need for community and nature.

Boo!A Zine Full
Of Horror

Horror is a genre used to speak about social anxities, a form of subtle social commentary under layers of scary paints. Taken inspirations from 90s horror movies posters, dynamic typography, with a contrast of popping colors and simple readable and rigid body text, conveying the complex layers of the horror genre - astoundingly entertaining but sharp with its messages.
